About Us
Little Lorikeet Preschool has been offering quality children’s programmes in the Hobson’s Bay and Maribyrnong municipalities since 2002 providing a warm, homely and nurturing space, with an emphasis on free, creative play, stories and artistic activities that nourish the child’s soul.pre
There is a set rhythm to the day providing opportunities for imaginative play, plenty of ‘doing’ and ‘moving’ as well as quiet, restful moments.
The children enjoy outdoor activities like climbing, swinging, gardening, skipping and jumping while indoor play stimulates the children’s creative, imaginative forces with painting, drawing, modelling, singing and story telling.
Our community offers support for families through educational talks, community days, community activities and celebrations including an Annual Spring Fair, seasonal festivals – Summer Harvest, Winter Solstice, Spring Festival, craft groups and workshops.
Our vision is to provide an educational program in an environment that nurtures and nourishes children and their families, when the beauty and strength and spirit shines through our daily endeavours.
